The NHS Wales e-Library for health provides access to e-journals, e-books, databases, medicines information, guidelines, point of care tools, e-Learning and a range of other e-resources all available either through the NHS Wales intranet (accessible on NHS Wales premises only) or its internet site at NHS Wales e-Library.
Access to e-resources from within the NHS Wales Network
Access to e-resources from within the NHS Wales Network is instant and there is no need to login to view full text resources.
Access from home or public Wi-Fi:
Go to the e-Library internet site: www.wales.nhs.uk/ehl
Click on an e-resource and enter your OpenAthens login to view full text.
Use the NHS Wales LibrarySearch box to search the e-Library collections for e-journal articles and e-book chapters in addition to books and journals held in NHS Wales hospital libraries. You will need to sign in with your local NHS Wales library barcode and password plus an OpenAthens login to view full text resources.
