Libraries are located in each of the major hospitals in Wales and aim to provide a friendly and helpful high quality service to support patient care, education, training and research.
Membership is open to NHS Wales staff and also undergraduate health students on clinical placement. Contact your local library for further information and how to join.

Library e-resources are available on a local and national level. Most libraries have a range of electronic resources e.g. e-books, e-journals, databases, which are accessible only to their library members due to publisher licensing requirements.

The NHS Wales Library Service (formerly known as AWHILES) is a partnership of NHS Wales and Cardiff University health libraries providing health information to support patient care, education, training and research for NHS Wales staff and students on placement.
